A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Clinical Research Systems Data Manager,

The Clinical Research Systems Data Manager is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems and technologies used in clinical research, supporting consistent processes. This individual will collaborate closely with system users and vendors while also providing training support as needed. The role primarily involves performing all necessary day-to-day system administration activities for clinical systems utilized by the Clinical Research team. Additionally, this position will lead and/or facilitate the validation of clinical systems managed by the Clinical Research department. As an expert resource, the Clinical Research Systems Data Manager will provide recommendations, best practices, and standards related to system configurations, while also promoting the effective use of both new and existing technologies where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a systems administrator required, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting
    • Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations and standards
    • Experience working in clinical trials and understanding patient safety, data integrity, computer system validation, blinding
    • Proficiency in managing clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems
  • Preferred Requirements
    • Experience with IRT/RTSM, eTMF, eCOA/ePRO

SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday, flexible office hours between 7 am - 5 pm, 40-hour work week, exempt position, working from our Phoenix, AZ, Friendswood, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA office location.
