Overview

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturing company in the Franklin area to recruit a qualified Controller. This is a key leadership role responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial operations, as well as providing financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, and payroll
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis
• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
• Collaborate with plant leadership and senior management to drive operational improvements
• Supervise and develop accounting team members
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA designation preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
