This versatile role is responsible for the firm’s complete spectrum of IT functions. The individual will manage the IT infrastructure, provide technical support to end-users, and ensure the security and integrity of the firm’s data. This requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer relations.

What you’ll do:

Systems Administration:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Implement and maintain IT security measures (antivirus, intrusion detection).
• Manage backups and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues.
• Plan and implement IT projects (system upgrades, software deployments).
• Maintain IT documentation.
• Administer managed platforms such as SentinelOne, Addigy, and Microsoft 365 (including Azure and PowerShell).
• Manage the IT resources and subscriptions.

Technical Support:

• Provide support to end-users (hardware, software, network).
• Troubleshoot technical problems.
• Set up and configure workstations and laptops.
• Install and maintain software applications.
• Facilitate technical trainings for new hires and staff.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain IT equipment and supplies inventory.
• Document technical issues and solutions.

Support Strategic IT Planning:

• Work with the Tech Committee to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Work with the Tech Committee and Operations team to develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Stay current with IT trends.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of broad IT experience, demonstrating technical and strategic skills.
• This role requires full-time, in-person attendance at our DC office, Monday through Friday.
• Strong knowledge of and experience working with Apple products and iOS platform.
• Experience with similar blended roles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business needs and IT strategy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with IT resource management.
• Strong technical skills across:
• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Common software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).
• IT security best practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage time.

The target salary range for this role is $110,000-$130,000 USD annually. The base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and market data.
