Job Description

We are seeking multiple Laboratory Systems Analysts to join a prominent healthcare system on an 18-month, fully remote contract. The Laboratory Systems Analyst will support the integration, management, and optimization of Roche Navify and Sysmex CareSphere.

The Laboratory Systems Analyst will have a deep understanding of LIS interfaces, system configuration, and workflow optimization. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills to manage system modifications, provide user support, and ensure seamless interoperability with enterprise applications such as Epic and Cerner PathNet.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Roche Navify/Sysmex CareSphere implementation, focusing on lab build, instrument connectivity, testing, and go-live support.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) with a comprehensive understanding of integrated workflows and related laboratory instrument software.
• Provide post-implementation support, including day-to-day troubleshooting and workflow optimization.
• Offer consultation to end users and leadership on workflow design, process improvement, and quality assurance related to LIS functionality.
• Assist Pathology leaders in understanding LIS configuration options and their impact on operational efficiency and quality.
• Perform configuration and implementation activities to ensure optimal LIS performance.
• Oversee changes to LIS applications, ensuring thorough testing, validation, documentation, and adherence to change management protocols.
• Participate in LIS integration projects, collaborating with Pathology, Information Services (IS), vendors (e.g., reference laboratories), and other stakeholders.
• Serve as a primary liaison between LIS and Epic/PathNet teams, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange.
• Assist IS personnel and vendors with the installation and configuration of laboratory devices and their interfaces.
• Utilize report writing tools, SQL, and scripting languages to extract and format LIS data for quality and operational reporting.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in information systems management, preferably in laboratory or healthcare environments.
• Experience with Roche Navify, Sysmex CareSphere, and Data Innovations is highly preferred.
• Expertise in LIS configuration, system interfaces, HL7 messaging, and interoperability with Epic/PathNet.
• Previous experience in clinical laboratory environments, with an understanding of workflow and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
