TPG Staffing is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist for our client, a successful central NJ company. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellent client service and able to perform all the activities necessary to process payrolls for a diverse array of client entities at various pay frequencies. Primary Responsibilities:
Understand proper taxation
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
Review time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
Conduct WC/SDI Insurance Payments/Audits
Respond to client requests quickly and accurately
Maintain client files in an electronic filing system
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
3 Plus years of experience processing payroll
Must be able to create detailed reports
Ability to meet strict deadlines, maintain strict confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent Excel Skills
